RG3 Not Closing Book On Colts’ No. 1 Pick
WACO, Texas – When the Redskins traded three first-round picks to get up to the No. 2 spot, it was a foregone conclusion they would be able to draft Robert Griffin III, assuming of course that Andrew Luck went first to the Colts.
And while that might be the case, Griffin didn’t make the decision any easier for Indy, especially after his stellar workout at Baylor‘s Pro Day Wednesday afternoon.
Luck will get his turn Thursday at Stanford. But with the front-office brass for both the Colts and the Redskins watching closely, Griffin put on a show, electrifying an overflow crowd at Baylor’s indoor practice facility.
While there was no pass rush or defensive backs guarding the receivers, it was an impressive performance by Griffin, who isn’t conceding the top spot to Luck just yet.
